The Brazilian full back Dani Alves has signed new contract with the Catalans which would keep him
at the Camp Nou till 2015.There was much speculation about the full back that whether he would signed new contract or not with the Spanish Champions as Manchester City showed interest in Signing the Brazilian.
Alves said"What i want them is to value me according to my performance and influence in the team rather than just as a defender."
Barcelona President Sandro Rossell earlier had quoted that "He is the best right back in the world at the moment and we would love him to stay here.But there are some terms on which both are not comfortable with, but this will be settled soon."
Dani Alves has been very instrumental for the Catalans as he has around 20 assists this season and continues to improve every game.
