Barcelona survived a scare from the bottom team Almeria.They took shock lead in the 50th minute at the Camp Nou through Corona before Lionel Messi penalty brought Barca to level on the night in the 53rd minute.Villa was brought down in the box by the goalie Diego Alves and Messi easily converted the Spot kick.In 64th minute Thiago Alcantara scored a header from the Messi corner.
There were many dangerous moments for Barca in the closing stages and luckily Keita clearance led to mistake from the defender and Messi scored his 2nd through beautiful finish past the Keeper.It was surely unconventional performance from the Spanish Champions.
The major concern would be absence of Javier Mascherano in the Clasico due to Suspension.
Real Madrid were at San Mames against Bilbao.Ronaldo and Ozil were on the bench keeping in mind the Clasico.Madrid got a penalty when Angel Di Maria was brought down in the box by Iraizoz and was superbly converted by Kaka.Madrid had many chances to increase their lead through Higuain but was brilliantly saved by the Keeper and Angel Di Maria's 30 yard chip Shot just went wide.But again in the 2nd half Di Maria was brought down in the box and Kaka converted the spot kick to give them 2-0 lead.Ronaldo came on as a substitute and scored in the 70th minute which finished the game 3-0.
